Breads

Many of our breads are made with natural sourdough starters. Long, slow fermentation is always the goal to develop flavor, so we use small amounts of yeast in our yeasted breads.

Baguette

A traditional French bread

Durum Round & Stick

Rustic Italian loaves with large holes and chewy crust
INGREDIENTS: durum wheat flour, unbleached wheat  flour , water, water, yeast, salt

Olive Bread

Made with Kalamata & Moroccan oil cured olives…. a favorite!  made with a natural sourdough starter
INGREDIENTS: unbleached wheat flour, water, whole wheat flour, Kalamata olives, oil-cured olives, salt

Toasted Walnut & Raisin

A dense loaf packed with walnuts and California raisins, made with a natural sourdough starter
INGREDIENTS: unbleached wheat flour, water, whole wheat flour, whole rye flour, walnuts, raisins

Multigrain

Made with an organic mix of 7 grains, sunflower seeds and a touch of honey and a natural sourdough starter; available as a round or pan loaf

Pain de Mie

A traditional white sandwich bread

French Rye

A European style seedless rye made with a natural sourdough starter

Challah

A traditional braided egg bread made on Fridays
INGREDIENTS: unbleached wheat flour, water, eggs, sunflower oil, sugar, yeast, salt

Vermont Cheddar Cheese Bread

A naturally leavened bread studded with Vermont cheddar cheese
INGREDIENTS: unbleached wheat flour, water, cheddar cheese, salt

Sourdough Baguette

With or without seeds(sesame, fennel, poppy)
INGREDIENTS: unbleached wheat flour, water, salt (seeds include sesame, fennel and poppy)

Sourdough

Made with our natural sourdough starter

Country Bread

A rustic sourdough made with a touch of whole wheat and rye; available as a 1-1/2 lb. or 3 lb. loaf
INGREDIENTS: unbleached wheat flour, water, whole rye flour, salt

Whole Wheat

A dense pan loaf made with a touch of honey
INGREDIENTS: whole wheat flour (97%), unbleached wheat flour (3%), water, honey, ascorbic acid, yeast, salt

Focaccia

Topped with rosemary, thyme, sage, olive oil and salt
INGREDIENTS: durum wheat flour, unbleached wheat flour, water, yeast, salt, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, sage
