Bakery Manager


We are currently recruiting for a Bakery Manager to join our Production Team.  The Bakery Manager is responsible for providing direction, training, and the development of employees.  The Bakery Manager will manage all aspects of bread production from ordering of ingredients, milling, mixing, shaping, all overnight baking and packaging.  This position will manage all areas of the bread department including hiring of staff, maintenance of building and cleanliness of bakery. 

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience as a baker in a professional setting, required
  • 2+ years experience managing a team, in a bakery setting preferred
  • Experience in all areas of bread making including milling, mixing, shaping, baking as well as experience with pastry production
  • Exceptional communication skills, organizational, problem solving and planning skills
  • Has experience with all aspects of bread production and a solid understanding of the fermentation process
  • Has an upbeat attitude and is a self- starter
  • Full availability.  Must be flexible with hours; early morning, afternoons and overnights, including weekends and holidays
  • SERVSAFE Certification is a plus
  • Baking and Pastry or Culinary degree or certificate preferred
