Yes, we are a bakery, but we take our coffee VERY seriously!  We source our coffee and espresso from George Howell Coffee, founded by specialty coffee pioneer, George Howell, who is revered for his devotion to the small coffee farmer and his pursuit of coffee excellence. We adhere to that same standard, meticulously tasting and testing our coffee to ensure quality and consistency and using La Marzocco espresso machines to optimize the flavor of our espresso. We provide extensive training for our baristas on how to brew a perfect cup of coffee, as well as how to pull and evaluate espresso, properly steam milk, whisk matcha, and artfully pour and present each and every cup.

About Our House Coffee – Available in both dark and light roast, our house coffee is from the Antigua region of Guatemala and is a carefully selected blend of indigenous small-farm coffee lots, washed and sun-dried in situ. Qualities include clarity, sweetness, and the presence of deep chocolate notes for which Antigua coffees have been prized since the nineteenth century. The Pastores dry mill that processes our coffee is well known for its quality selection and sorting.

About Our Espresso – We serve Alchemy Espresso, which is a blend of seasonally fresh coffees from Brazil, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Kenya and Ethiopia. This espresso cuts through milk beautifully and is delicious on its own, with a bright, sweet, clean finish.
